Are you looking for the best content marketing blogs to follow?

Do you want to improve your knowledge of content marketing and how it could affect your business?

There are so many blogs out there talking about content marketing, online marketing, social media marketing, and just marketing in general.

I've pulled together a list of my top 13 blogs to follow for great content marketing tips, strategies, and trends.

Content Marketing Institute - by far the leader in content marketing education, tools, and resources. (Joe Pulizzi is founder of Content Marketing Institute and has written several books - I'd highly recommend Content, Inc. and Epic Content Marketing.)

Jeff Bullas - Jeff's blog covers a range of topics from content marketing, blogging, social media, and more.

Social Media Examiner - while it's focus is social media, SocialMediaExaminer.com also touches on social media's connection to content marketing overall.

The Sales Lion - Marcus Sheridan is one of my favorite people in the content marketing space. Marcus is a down-to-earth guy who loves helping people "spread the gospel" of content marketing.

HubSpot Marketing - HubSpot actually has several blogs worth following. The HubSpot Marketing Blog focuses on the content marketing side of things. (I would also suggest following the HubSpot Sales Blog!)

Convince and Convert - Jay Baer is on the forefront of content marketing. Besides the blog, be sure to read his book, Youtility. It's an outstanding book!

Copyblogger - what started as a blog about blogging has now become an extensive resource for everything you need to know about content marketing.

Gary Vaynerchuk - Gary V is an expert when it comes to content marketing. He uses his brash personality to talk straight and get his points across. As long as you're not offended by some f-bombs, Gary's blog and videos are must-follows.

Ann Handley - as Chief Content Officer of MarketingProfs, Ann focuses a great deal on the actual WRITING part of content marketing.

MarketingProfs - speaking of Ann Handley and MarketingProfs, they provide an outstanding variety of content related to sales, marketing, customer services, and content marketing.

JoltCMS - Okay, so I may be a little biased, but I think this blog offers a healthy level of content marketing advice, ideas, strategies, and tactics you can use every day to improve your bottom line.

Contently - from blogs to infographics and videos, Contently provides a solid perspective on content marketing that's hard to find elsewhere.

Chris Brogan - With advice on more than just content marketing, Chris Brogan specifically shares details around the things HE does to succeed in his own business, and then it's up to you to recognize how it does or doesn't apply to your business.

Each one of these blogs offers an email newsletter of some sort, so sign up for those. Or, if you use feedly.com, like I do, just search for each and add to your feed so you don't miss a single thought from these content marketing blogs.
